RDACM

This conference will provide a platform to showcase recent advances in applied and computational mathematics. Its primary objective is to offer a dynamic and interdisciplinary forum for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, present novel findings, and share insights into emerging research and real-world applications.

The event aims to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, promote innovative methodologies, and emphasize the role of mathematical tools and computational techniques in addressing complex challenges across science, engineering, and technology. By bringing together leading experts and early-career researchers from around the globe, the conference seeks to advance both theoretical and applied mathematical research.

RDACM-2026 will feature keynote addresses and oral presentations, all aligned with the core themes of the event.

Prof. Raju K. George

Prof. George, currently serving as Outstanding Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Dean (Student Activities, Student Welfare & Outreach Programme) at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), will be superannuating in July 2026. A Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, Prof. George has had a distinguished academic career spanning over three decades.

Before joining IIST, he taught at the M.S. University of Baroda, India, for more than a decade, served as a visiting professor at the University of Delaware, USA, and held a brief tenure as Professor and Head of Mathematics at the University Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. His research and academic contributions include visits to labs in the USA, Canada, Italy, France, Germany, Sri Lanka, and Ankara.

At IIST, he has been a pillar of the Mathematics Department, blending deep expertise in functional analysis, mathematical control theory, soft computing, and orbital mechanics with inspiring teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has over 70 research publications, supervised 14 Ph.D. scholars, co-authored two major books - "Ordinary Differential Equations: Principles and Applications" (Cambridge University Press, 2017) and "A Course In Linear Algebra" (Springer, 2024) - and delivered an NPTEL course on "Differential Equations."

His tenure as Dean (R& D, 2016-2024) and Dean (Student Welfare & Outreach, 2024-present) has been instrumental in advancing research, governance, and student engagement at IIST. Prof. George's career stands as a testament to scholarly excellence, mentorship, and institutional leadership - leaving a legacy that will continue to inspire generations at IIST.
