The organizing committee invites original, unpublished papers from academicians, researchers, legal practitioners, policymakers, scientists, and students on the evolving legal dimensions of space governance, sustainability, and international cooperation. Submissions are welcome on themes including the foundations of international space law and policy, the International Space Station and beyond, space commercialization and national legislation, remote sensing and satellite communication, planetary defense and space debris governance, and emerging technologies such as AI and space traffic management. The conference will feature plenary session, keynote session and paper presentations, offering a platform to explore contemporary challenges and collaborative solutions shaping the future of global space governance.

Thematic sessions

• Foundations and evolution of international space law: Exploring the outer space treaty, liability and registration convention and humanitarian frameworks that form the bedrock of international space law.
• The international space station and beyond: Legal frameworks of the ISS and future cooperative models such as the lunar gateway and Martian missions.
• Space commercialization and national legislation: Addressing the rise of private space sectors, resource utilization, liability and regulatory compliance in the era of space entrepreneurship.
• Remote sensing, satellite communication, and global navigation: Examining global data sharing laws, spectrum management and cyber security in satellite based communications.
• Planetary defense, space debris, and environmental governance: Highlighting sustainability, environmental responsibility and plenary defense protocols in outer space
• New Frontiers -AI, Space traffic management, and emerging technologies: Analyzing the ethical and legal implications of artificial intelligence, quantum communications and cyber interfaces in space missions
• International cooperation and global governance: Discussing the roles and intergovernmental organizations, the global south and legal reform in shaping equitable space futures

Abstract with proper affiliations should be between 300 to 400 words and should be submitted on or before October 15, 2026. Accepted papers will be notified for oral/poster presentation and prizes are likely to be awarded for the best papers.

Accommodation, if required, will be provided on first come first served basis subject to availability of hostel rooms at a nominal charge.
