Presentation Duration
- Total Time: 12 minutes
- 10 minutes for your presentation
- 2 minutes for audience Q&A/discussion
- Please strictly adhere to the time limit to maintain the session schedule.
Slide Preparation
- Use graphically rich slides that highlight your research’s main contributions and key insights.
- Include clear explanations for all figures, graphs, and tables.
- Ensure all content is formatted for easy readability and avoids overcrowding.
- Avoid automatic slide transitions—slides should advance manually.
Fonts
- Use only standard system fonts included in Windows 10, macOS, Microsoft PowerPoint, or Apple Keynote.
- Do not use custom or third-party fonts, as they may not display correctly on the session computer.
Aspect Ratio
- Prepare your presentation in 16:9 (widescreen) format for optimal screen use.
- Presentations in 4:3 format are acceptable but will not fill the entire screen.
Media Files
- If using videos or audio, make sure they are:
- Embedded in your presentation
- Also brought separately on a USB drive as backup
- Test your media in advance on another system to avoid playback issues.
