Presentation Guidelines

All accepted presenters are required to deliver an oral presentation during their assigned session. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure an effective and seamless presentation.

Presentation Duration

  • Total Time: 12 minutes
    • 10 minutes for your presentation
    • 2 minutes for audience Q&A/discussion
  • Please strictly adhere to the time limit to maintain the session schedule.

Slide Preparation

  • Use graphically rich slides that highlight your research’s main contributions and key insights.
  • Include clear explanations for all figures, graphs, and tables.
  • Ensure all content is formatted for easy readability and avoids overcrowding.
  • Avoid automatic slide transitions—slides should advance manually.

Fonts

  • Use only standard system fonts included in Windows 10, macOS, Microsoft PowerPoint, or Apple Keynote.
  • Do not use custom or third-party fonts, as they may not display correctly on the session computer.

Aspect Ratio

  • Prepare your presentation in 16:9 (widescreen) format for optimal screen use.
  • Presentations in 4:3 format are acceptable but will not fill the entire screen.

Media Files

  • If using videos or audio, make sure they are:
    • Embedded in your presentation
    • Also brought separately on a USB drive as backup
  • Test your media in advance on another system to avoid playback issues.
