Abstract: Light bridges are features observed within Sunspots. Generally, these features are understood to be protrusion of plasma into the Umbra. When umbrae break apart or merge, lower magnetic field gaps are formed, and hot plasma can exist as light bridges in those gaps. In this paper, we report the observations of unusual dynamics of light bridges, where light bridges are seen to have apparent transverse motions within the Umbra. Using AIA and HMI on board SDO we observe that these motions are coupled with coronal loops, and we hypothesise a linkage between coronal loops dynamics and light bridge transverse motions.
