Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Can I attend the workshop without giving a presentation (oral/poster)?
No. Abstract submission is mandatory for participation.
2. Can Master’s and Bachelor’s students attend the workshop?
This workshop is intended for experts to present and discuss current developments in solar physics. Bachelor’s and Master’s students who have carried out research in solar physics may apply. Applications without relevant research experience are unlikely to be selected by the Scientific Organizing Committee (SOC).
3. Do I need to pay a registration fee? Can it be waived?
The registration fee is mandatory for all participants.
4. Can I get travel support?
Limited travel support is available for students and young researchers from universities or institutes. After the selection of abstracts, the travel support form will be available, and selected candidates will be asked to fill out the form.
5. Can accommodation be supported?
Limited free accommodation will be provided to selected participants, subject to availability.
6. How do I book accommodations?
Participants not eligible for accommodation support can book the guest house at a nominal cost. The guest house booking form will be available after the selection of participants. A list of recommended hotels is provided on the conference website.
7. How do I request accommodation support?

9. Can I submit more than one abstract?
No. Only one abstract is allowed.
10. Is there a poster size requirement?
Yes. Poster boards will accommodate posters up to A0 size (841 mm × 1189 mm) in portrait orientation.
11. Will there be a conference dinner or social events?
Yes. Details of the conference dinner, including date and venue, will be shared later.
